Insurance… Can that ever be cool? You bet it is! This emerging hot segment of the FinTech sector, increasingly labelled “InsurTech”, aims to attack the global insurance market worth over $5 trillion. Definitely not an unsexy number… And InsurTech is heating up, with $2.12bn raised by InsurTech start-ups since 2010 of which $1.39bn since the beginning of 2014, and 2015 projected to be another record year.
