Paolo is not the only one getting excited about the possibilities for Blockchain to change the way we transact insurance. Having spent the last week getting up to speed, its clear that the potential is vast, but how and where it plays remains uncertain.
My sense is that the next step lies with the industry itself. It needs to establish some level of consensus about where the opportunity lies, how to kick things off and who wants to get involved. We'll know much more by the end of 2016.
